If you’ve accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of your life, then you are inseparable from God’s love.

God Loves You

God loves you. As a matter of fact, He loves you with an everlasting love. God’s love doesn’t change. It doesn’t go up and down with the times and seasons. It remains constant. It’s the one thing you can count on no matter what situation you face. God loves you.

Many times you may not feel loved. It’s so easy to be shaped by the things that have happen to you and how others treat you. The love of people is often conditioned on how you act, but God loves you even when you do something wrong.

The Apostle Paul says that God loved you when you were His enemy. It’s His great love for you that motivated Him to send Jesus Christ to pay the price so you could be reconciled to Him. God loves you no matter what you do, His constant desire is for you to draw near to Him.

The truth is that sometimes you don’t feel lovable or loved by God. The great news is that no matter how unloved you feel God loves you and is pursuing you. Listen to this classic Scripture that talks about God’s love and the assurance we have that nothing can separate us from His love. I mean nothing.

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; 34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. 35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written,
“For Your sake we are being put to death all day long;We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:31-39)

This passage is a beacon of hope for every believer in Christ. It’s a foundational truth that can keep you in all of the trials of life.

God is For you

God is for you. You can stand against every thought or feeling that rises up in your head or heart and reject them based on God’s love for you. God is the one who made a way for you to come to Him. He wants you and has done everything to be with you.

God freely gave Jesus Christ to die for your sin. He doesn’t want you separated from Him for a moment. His heart is always toward you. His love is always available.

The best part of this passage is the truth that nothing can separate you from the love of God. If a thought just came to your mind as to why what I just said doesn’t apply to you, I want you to take that thought captive and reject it for the lie that it is and accept the love of God for you.

God's Love Can Change Your Life

I remember a time I was preaching in a church in Mexico. I was speaking about the love of God.  I made a single statement that “God loves you.” That’s all I planned to say, but I sensed in my spirit that God wanted me to keep saying it. So I said it over and over again, “God loves you. God loves you. God loves you, God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you.”

The whole time I was saying this I was thinking how crazy it was that I was repeating this so many times. After the service a woman came to with tears in her eyes thanking me for telling her that God loved her.

She said that every time I said the words God loves you, she felt something break on the inside. Each time she was getting freer and freer and more able to receive God’s love for her. Her face was radiant and she was so thankful for the work that God had done in her heart.

That’s the kind of God we serve. A God whose love never fails. A God who remains constant and sure. A God who loves with an everlasting love.

God Loves You

I’m not sure how secure you are about the love of God, but I feel led to speak the same thing over you as I did to the church in Mexico. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you.

I want to encourage you as we end our time together to receive God’s love. Open your heart and let Him touch the depths of your being. May God remind you on a continual basis that You are inseparable from His love.
